Chart Templates allow you to store sets of indicators for quick retrieval. When you change your active symbol the indicators you have set on the Chart Template will adhere to your new active symbol. There are 12 Chart Templates by default in TeleChart but can edit these any way you like and create additional templates as well. You are encouraged to adjust the indicators on any of the Chart Templates, as well as create and name your own Chart Templates.
To load a chart template, click on the currently selected template name and you will see a drop-down list of templates. From here you can add a new template, edit, delete or rename an existing template.
To edit the indicators saved to a chart template, select the chart template that you would like to adjust and then click Edit on the chart to the right of the Chart Template name. This will bring up the Editing Chart Template window where you can add, remove or adjust any of the indicators on that chart template.
To create a new Chart Template simply click the New button in the upper left of the screen and choose New Chart Template. You will be asked to name it and can then begin customizing it as desired.
You can set the saving characteristics of the chart templates by clicking Tools | System Settings and selecting the Chart Templates tab.
*Note: There is a limit of 29 indicators per template.
